Your point of contact
You work directly with Alessia throughout the planning. She gets to know your priorities, develops the proposal with you and coordinates the selected collaborators and suppliers involved.
We start with your preferred dates, expected attendance, departure locations and budget. You do not need to have chosen a destination or completed the agenda before getting in touch.
As the plans develop, Alessia keeps track of the bookings and decisions still needed from your team. If on-site coordination is part of your brief, she is there during the event to manage delivery and assist your guests.
Selected work

Sardinia · 150 guests
A multi-day conference for 150 guests from Australia and New Zealand. Alessia coordinated accommodation, meeting spaces, transport, meals and activities, including a replacement cheese-making workshop when bad weather cancelled a boat excursion.

Langhe · 52 guests · September 2026
In September 2026, 52 colleagues from an American technology company travelled to Piedmont for Barolo tastings, e-bike rides, truffle hunting and a Michelin-starred lunch. Alessia managed the budget, flights, accommodation and programme, and was on site for all five days.
The destination needs to work for your programme and the people travelling. Flight connections, room availability, meeting facilities and distances between venues all influence the choice.
We help you compare locations across Italy, whether you already have a region in mind or want recommendations based on your brief.
Tell us your preferred dates, approximate group size and budget, along with what you want to achieve during the event. If some details are still open, we can work through them together.
Questions We Are Often Asked
Absolutely.
Many clients begin the process knowing they want to bring their team to Italy but are unsure which destination would be the best fit.
Recommendations are made based on the objectives of the retreat, the profile of the attendees, the time of year, budget considerations, and the overall experience the company hopes to create.
Yes.
Most clients engage The Italian Chapter to oversee the retreat from the initial planning stage through to on-site delivery, including destination selection, venue sourcing, accommodation, transportation, programme development, supplier coordination, and guest logistics.
Group sizes depend on the brief, venue and programme. Alessia has coordinated intimate gatherings as well as larger events.
The planning requirements vary significantly depending on the size and objectives of the group, which is why every project is approached individually rather than through predefined packages.
The earlier the better, particularly for larger groups or retreats taking place during peak seasons.
Most companies begin planning between three and twelve months in advance, depending on the size of the programme, the destination, and the level of flexibility required.
That said, shorter timelines are often possible and can be discussed during the initial consultation.
Yes.
The majority of our clients are based outside Italy.
Many programmes involve attendees travelling from multiple countries, requiring coordination across different arrival points, schedules, and logistical requirements.
Not usually.
Italy is one of the most accessible destinations in Europe, with direct flights connecting major cities across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East.
For most international teams, the challenge is not reaching Italy. It is choosing the destination that best fits the objectives of the retreat and coordinating the logistics once everyone arrives.
The Italian Chapter assists clients with destination selection, transportation planning, and guest logistics, helping ensure that travel remains as straightforward as possible for attendees.
Yes.
The Italian Chapter focuses exclusively on Italy.
This allows us to maintain strong relationships with venues, hotels, suppliers, transportation providers, and local partners throughout the country while providing clients with informed recommendations based on direct experience rather than third-party research.
No.
The focus is not on luxury for its own sake.
The focus is on creating retreats that are appropriate for the company, the attendees, and the objectives of the programme.
In some cases, that may involve highly exclusive properties. In others, it may not.
Absolutely.
Every project begins with a clear understanding of the available budget and priorities.
Recommendations are developed accordingly, ensuring that resources are allocated where they will have the greatest impact on the overall experience.
There is no single answer, as costs vary significantly depending on destination, season, accommodation standards, programme design and group size. There is no published minimum budget.
Share an approximate amount in your preferred currency, or choose ‘Budget to discuss’ when you enquire. Alessia can discuss what is realistically achievable and shape a proposal around your priorities.

Every project is different, which is why fees are discussed after understanding the scope, group size, destination, and planning requirements involved.
Following the initial consultation, clients receive a clear proposal outlining the services included and the associated fees.
