Working with Alessia

Planning an Italian wedding from abroad

You may have a favourite region, a venue saved on your phone or simply the idea of bringing everyone to Italy. The first conversations establish your guest numbers, preferred dates, budget and the kind of celebration you want.

Alessia helps you develop that brief into practical options. She researches venues, follows up with local suppliers and discusses the choices with you through calls and updates.

Live video visits can help you see a venue remotely and ask questions about its spaces. As plans develop, you have one main contact who understands the wedding and the guest arrangements around it.

What we organise for your wedding

The scope is agreed around your plans and the support you need. It can cover the wedding itself, your guests’ accommodation and travel, and the gatherings before and afterwards.

Wedding venue search and selection

We compare venues against your guest numbers, preferred setting and budget. Accommodation nearby, access for guests, spaces for the ceremony and reception, and alternatives for poor weather are part of the discussion.

You receive options to consider with Alessia, with questions followed up locally before you make your choice.

Budget and planning schedule

Venue hire, catering, flowers, entertainment and guest arrangements all contribute to the overall cost. Alessia brings supplier quotations into the planning so you can consider your priorities before confirming bookings.

Decisions, booking deadlines and payment dates are tracked as preparations move forward.

Wedding suppliers and setup

Catering, flowers, music, entertainment and the venue setup need to follow the same plan. Alessia coordinates the selected suppliers, shares the agreed requirements and follows up on timings and practical details.

Your preferences guide those arrangements, including the atmosphere you want for the ceremony, dinner and celebrations.

Guest accommodation and transfers

Guests may arrive on different days, travel from several countries or need hotels at different prices. We coordinate accommodation options, rooming arrangements and transfers around those differences.

Stays across more than one property can be organised alongside transport to the wedding venue and other gatherings.

Welcome dinners and the days around the wedding

A welcome dinner gives guests time to meet before the wedding. Beach aperitifs, shared lunches or an outing afterwards can extend the time you spend together.

These events are planned alongside the main celebration, with attention to arrival times, travel between locations and space for guests to enjoy their stay independently.

On-site wedding coordination

During the event, Alessia coordinates the agreed arrangements with the venue and suppliers, keeps track of the schedule and assists with guest questions.

That can include setup timings, transport, dietary requirements and children’s entertainment. If plans change, there is someone on site who knows the preparations and can respond directly.

Your ceremony and reception

For a symbolic wedding ceremony, we coordinate the setting and practical arrangements as part of the celebration. The ceremony, drinks, dinner and music are considered together when planning the use of the venue and the day’s schedule.

If you would like a legally recognised or religious ceremony, tell us at the outset so the relevant requirements and specialist support can be checked before arrangements are confirmed.

Choosing where to get married in Italy

A countryside villa and a coastal venue offer different possibilities for your wedding and your guests’ stay. The choice also depends on the season, accommodation availability, airport connections and how much travelling you want people to do.

Alessia helps you compare destinations and venues against those practical needs. If you already have a region in mind, the search can begin there; if not, your brief provides the starting point.

A wedding in Otranto for 120 international guests

Canadian couple · July 2026 · Four nights · Two days of celebrations

For this wedding in Puglia, Alessia worked with a Canadian couple for more than a year. Venue research included live video calls to show the spaces and discuss the wedding while the couple were abroad.

The 120 guests travelled from the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe. Alessia organised arrivals and transfers to their respective hotels, with four nights of accommodation across properties offering different price options.

A symbolic ceremony at a sea-view villa in Otranto formed part of two days of celebrations, followed by beach aperitifs. Alessia coordinated catering, the DJ, flowers, setup, guest gifts and children’s entertainment, and was present during the event.
