Founder & Event Planner in Italy
I founded The Italian Chapter because I love bringing people to Italy and sharing the places, food and hospitality that make me proud to call it home.
I have worked as a concierge and Guest Relations Manager in luxury and boutique hotels in Italy, the United States, Australia and Iceland. Those years taught me how personal hospitality is: remembering a preference, listening to a request and noticing the small things that make someone feel welcome.
This work is also my passion. What makes me happiest is seeing clients enjoy something we have spent months planning together: friends reunited around a table, a couple celebrating with everyone they love, colleagues getting to know each other outside work. I want to help create experiences they will remember for the rest of their lives.
Based in Rome, I plan corporate events, private celebrations and destination weddings with a team of selected collaborators and trusted local suppliers. These relationships allow me to share more of the Italy I love, including the people who care for its places and keep its traditions alive.
I speak Italian, English and Spanish, and work directly with you throughout the planning. I want to hear what you are excited about, what matters to your guests and what you have always imagined doing here.
Our Team & Local Partners
Alessia leads the planning, supported by collaborators and local professionals selected for each project. The team depends on what the event needs: guest assistance, venue coordination, transport, catering, flowers, music or activities.
We work with trusted suppliers and source additional specialists when the plans call for them. We consider their work, responsiveness and ability to deliver the service your event requires.
Our role is to coordinate those contributions. We confirm schedules, brief suppliers, share practical information and manage adjustments, so each person understands their responsibilities and how their work fits into the day.
We begin with the occasion, guest numbers, preferred dates and budget. We also ask what matters to you: time for meetings, a particular setting, room for different activities or bringing everyone together for a celebration. These details guide the proposals.
We explain why a venue or supplier could suit your plans, including practical considerations such as access, accommodation capacity, travel times and the spaces available. You can compare the options with a clear understanding of what each offers.
Accommodation, transport, dining and activities affect one another. We keep track of the agreed costs and discuss the implications of changes, so you can decide where to spend and what to prioritise.
Guests need arrival details and meeting points. Suppliers need schedules, access information and clear responsibilities. We coordinate these communications and handle practical questions, giving you more time with the people you have invited.
Company retreats, conferences, leadership meetings and incentive trips. We coordinate meeting spaces, accommodation, travel, dining and activities around the purpose of the gathering.
Milestone birthdays, anniversaries and family gatherings. We organise the celebration and the stay around it, including villas, hotels, private dining and activities guests can choose between.
Weddings in Italy for couples and guests travelling from abroad. Our work includes venue research, supplier coordination, accommodation, transfers and celebrations before and after the wedding.
Selected work
A year of planning brought friends and family together for a 60th birthday in Chianti. Alessia coordinated a private villa, a nearby hotel, shared meals and activities chosen by the guests. A participant WhatsApp group kept everyone informed, and she was present throughout the celebration.
For a Canadian couple, Alessia helped organise a wedding in Otranto attended by 120 guests from the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe. More than a year of preparation included live video venue visits, four-night stays across different hotels, airport transfers and coordination of the wedding suppliers.
